Popular lectures

Cancer Wellness is based on my work with cancer survivors and caregivers. It gives a holistic perspective on being an active part in your rehabilitation to strengthen the body and heal on all four levels. Coming to acceptance, having trust in the process and being able to feel joy and gratefulness are a few things that affects our immune system.  I also address stress management, diet, exercise, mindfulness and more.


This lecture is built on the book Reflections which is based on my husbands cancer blogg. It is full of deep insights and hope as well as brutally honest on how to cope with a terminal illness. We wrote the book from two perspectives, from a patients point of view and from a caregiver. To fully heal means to heal on four levels: physical, mental, emotional and existential. I talk about my reflections being a caregiver and having worked with counseling cancer patients for the past 15 years. You will leave this lecture with a deep appreciation and love for life and maybe less fearful of the unknown and perhaps with a deeper purpose.

The lecture is for the group who wants to find out more about Mindfulness and try it hands on. The research is unified when it comes to what mindfulness and meditation can do for you. It gives you focus, decrease worry and anxiety, increase of wellbeing and much more . Many leaders use the techniques to be able to make more grounded decisions,  and you will learn this as well.

 

A combined lecture in theory and practice to find out what Qigong is all about. This is a popular lecture and I adjust the movements to fit the group. You will find out why millions of people use this as a daily health routine. The benefits are many; more energy, better balance and coordination, it can lower blood pressure, gives you instant stress relief, and can also get your energy up in a minute. Find out why I have been training Qigong since 1988 and have no plans to stop. No need for change of clothes or to bring anything.

 

For the past 30 years I have helped people go from stress to strength and in this lecture I talk about stress from different angles and what long time stress can do to your body. You will find out the difference in outer, inner and chemical stress and learn how to get out of a stress attack in 3 simple steps. For a long term stress relief strategi it is important to dig a bit deeper and you will find out about the 5 basic steps for a sustainable life.

 

The book Öst möter Väst – Mental träning över gränserna, is so far only available in Swedish but in my lecture based on the book, I talk about my personal experiences where I have used different tools and coping strategies to deal with difficult situations. I will share with you the amazing people I have met and been fortunate to learn from. There are qigong masters with skills that will make you doubt your own senses. I combine the Eastern knowledge of mental training with the western. In this lecture I will pick out some of the best parts and take you on a journey to China and Japan.

I plan to have the book translated during 2023.
